On July 24th, 2025, a jury found Defendant Montrell Jolly guilty of one (1) count of Neglect Resulting in Death as a Level 1 Felony; one (1) count of Aggravated Battery Resulting in Death as a Level 1 Felony and one (1) count of Battery on a Person Under 14 Resulting in Death as a Level 1 Felony.
A status hearing is set for August 1, 2025 to address the second phase of the case.
