On February 4, 2026, Prosecutor Pat Harrington joined Lafayette Mayor Tony Roswarski and Lafayette Police Department Chief Scott Galloway to provide the public an update on community safety trends and statistics including a decrease in crime due to the efficacy of the Major Crimes Unit, a collaboration between Lafayette Police Department and the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office.
