Tippecanoe County Drug Task Force Arrests Three; Seizes
Nearly $700,000 in Counterfeit Pills
The Tippecanoe County Drug Task Force conducted a narcotics investigation that resulted in
the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of a large quantity of counterfeit pills containing
fentanyl and methamphetamine.
During the investigation, task force members seized:
- 3,371 grams (7.43 pounds) of fentanyl, disguised as counterfeit oxycodone pills
- 3,918 grams (8.64 pounds) of methamphetamine, pressed to resemble counterfeit
“Adderall 30mg” tablets
In total, investigators seized approximately 39,471 counterfeit pills with an estimated street
value of $688,860.
