The Tippecanoe County Local Child Fatality Review Team (TCLCFRT) To Present Trends in 2025 Child Deaths in Tippecanoe County

The Tippecanoe County Local Child Fatality Review Team (TCLCFRT) will hold a forum open to the public.

DATE: Tuesday, February 24, 2026

TIME: 10:00am TO 12:00pm

LOCATION: Tippecanoe County Office Building

Tippecanoe Room 20 North 3rd Street Lafayette, IN

Beneficial information for parents, grandparents, childcare providers, babysitters, family members who care for children, law enforcement, medical/healthcare professionals, EMS personnel, preschool teachers and assistants, school administrators, and justice officials will be presented.

· Jason Biss, Tippecanoe County Chief Deputy Prosecutor

· Elyse A. Madigan, Deputy Prosecutor: Overall 2025 findings of the Tippecanoe

County Local Child Fatality Review Team; Indiana State Trends, Safe Sleep Practices – Tippecanoe County Statistics

· Tabetha Miller and Carla Morales, Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit- Internet Crimes Against Children: Online Safety

All members of the community are invited to attend.

Representatives from the TCLCFRT will be on hand to answer your questions. TCLCFRT members include the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office, County Coroner’s Office, County Health Department, State Health Department, Department of Child Services, Lafayette Police Department, Lafayette School Corporations, IU Health Arnett, Department of Natural Resources, Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Department, Tippecanoe Emergency Ambulance Services, West Lafayette Fire Department, Wabash Valley Alliance, Franciscan Health Lafayette, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Tippecanoe County, Safe Kids of Lafayette, Riggs Community Health Center, and a Forensic Pathologist.
