On March 13th, 2026, after previously pleading Guilty, the defendant, Joel Antonio Huizar, was sentenced to 20 years to include 15 years’ incarceration at the Indiana Department of Correction,3 years with the Tippecanoe County Community Corrections, and 2 years’ Probation on one (1) count of Dealing in Methamphetamine as a Level 3 Felony and one (1) count of being a Habitual Offender as a sentencing enhancement.
