TCPO convenes with the Community Advocate Alliance

The Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office convened its Community Advocate Alliance luncheon on April 23, 2026, bringing together a wide range of local social service providers during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Jason Biss led a collaborative roundtable discussion focused on emerging issues, new programs, and ongoing challenges facing agencies that serve vulnerable populations across the community.

The roundtable continues to serve as a vital forum for strengthening partnerships, encouraging open dialogue, and fostering innovative solutions among service providers. By sharing insights and resources, participating organizations are better equipped to support crime victims and address evolving community needs.

The meeting also featured a presentation from Digital Forensic Analysts Tabetha Miller and Carla Morales of the Prosecutor’s Office High-Tech Crime Unit. Their presentation highlighted the unit’s critical role in investigating digital offenses and emphasized practical strategies for preventing online exploitation—particularly crimes targeting youth.

Representatives in attendance included NAMI, Love on a Leash, Franciscan Center of Hope, Riley Children’s Hospital, Hanna Community Center, Hartford House Child Advocacy Center, Bravely Women’s Health, Tippecanoe Youth Services, the Indiana Department of Child Services, the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office Victim Assistance Unit, Tippecanoe County CASA, and Golden Gate Counseling.

Through continued collaboration and shared commitment, the Community Advocate Alliance remains an essential pillar in promoting safety, advocacy, and support for all members of the Tippecanoe County community.
