On May 21st, 2026, after previously pleading Guilty, the defendant, Bernard Watkins Jr., was sentenced to 7 years to include 3 years’ incarceration at the Indiana Department of Correction, 2 years with the Tippecanoe County Community Corrections, and 2 years of Probation on one (1) count of being a Serious Violent Felon as a Level 4 Felony.
